Shane is the son of Phil and Angela Milburn, and has an older brother Shawn Milburn.  Shane started racing Go-Karts at the age of 4 1/2 at Jules Raceway in Wilmington, Illinois.  The last two years Shane has been racing at the newly reopened K3 Karting track in Kankakee, Illinois.

The first two classes Shane was in Kid Karts and Baby Champ Karts, did not race for points. ***For informational purposes only, they do track points for these classes. Shane would have been "1st in points" for the Kid Kart Class in the 2005 racing season. In the Baby Champ he raced 4 races and won all 4.

2006 (3rd Season)

Shane won the Jr Purple Champ Class Championship at Jules Raceway for the 2006 season.  Shane was fortunate enough to win 10 times, and he had a few Second Place finishes, not to mention a few accidents but that's racing. Shane also received the Rookie of The Year for the Junior Classes which made him very proud of his accomplishments.

2007(4th Season)
Class:  Jr. 2 Briggs Champ Turq.
Engine: 5 Horse Alcohol
Ages: 10-12

Shane went up a class this year to the Jr.Briggs Champ Turq. Class due to no one his age racing in the Purple Class. This year was a learning experience for Shane due to racing against much older kids.  However we are very proud that he did place third in this class championship.

2008 (5th Season)
Class:  Jr. 2 Briggs Champ Turq.

Shane recieved 2nd Place in the Turquoise Championship this year.  He is getting closer to his goal of 1st place and the Championship coat he wants.

2009 (6th Season)

Ages 10-12 *** notice Shane is still not old enough for this class
Shane recieved 2nd Place in the Turquoise Championship again this year.
